Time attendance that starts at the device and ends in a report you can rely on
Employee punches from the biometric devices in every branch reach the system as they are recorded, and are evaluated against the right shift for each employee on each day, so attendance, lateness and absence show without manual collation.

Devices send directly to the system
The device connects to IdaraSuite over the internet, so you need no middleware on a branch PC, no static IP address and no open ports.
- Devices from ZKTeco, Hikvision and Suprema: fingerprint, face and card
- Several branches and devices in one account
- A screen showing which devices are still sending and when each last did
- Manual punch entry when needed, with its trace kept in the log
Shifts that match how you work
The shift that applies on a given day decides whether a punch is on time, late, absent or overtime, so the system evaluates each day against its actual shift.
- Fixed shifts, night shifts that cross midnight, and shifts with more than one period
- Shift rosters and temporary assignment to another shift
- Temporary moves between departments and job titles
- Public holidays and rest days are not counted as absence
Overtime and excuses before they reach payroll
Overtime hours are added, and an approved excuse is lateness that is not deducted. Both are recorded and approved in the system under rules you define.
- Overtime and excuse rules you set once
- Requests from the employee, approval by the person responsible
- An overtime report and an excuse report
Questions about this feature
Which attendance devices are supported?
The system works with attendance devices from several makers, such as ZKTeco, Hikvision and Suprema, that support sending punches over the internet. Send us the device model and we will confirm before you subscribe.
What happens if the branch loses its internet connection?
The device keeps the punches in its memory and sends them when the connection returns; they appear in the system with their actual time.
Does the software work out attendance, absence and lateness by itself?
Yes. The system compares each employee’s punches with their shift for that day to determine attendance, lateness, absence and overtime, and does not count approved leave, public holidays or rest days as absence.
